• Background

  Travis was born in the Front Range mountains of Colorado to Johnathan and Cayle Travis. His parents ran a successful bed and breakfast at the base of Pike’s Peak. Travis lived with his parents as an only child until leaving for a scientific internship in the Delta Quadrant at the age of 20. His childhood was spent hiking, skiing, rock climbing, rafting, sky diving, staring at the night sky and any other activity which gave him the chance to enjoy the still wide open spaces of Earth’s Rocky Mountain Range.
  
  At the age of 17, he entered a local college to pursue a degree in the sciences. After attending college for just three years, he was selected to take part in an internship with a research project studying the Hope One Dyson’s Sphere. Despite his Mother’s many tears, he set off on what he’d expected to be a two year scientific adventure. It was at the research project’s offices in GorVosh Station that he met the girl who would prove to be the love of his life, Magge Reylana, the young attache' to GorVosh's Coridan Ambassador. The year was 2399.
  
  After the 8472's laid waste to GorVosh Station and the surrounding colonies in Hope One, he spent nearly a year volunteering in the rescue and recovery search teams which continued to scour the area for years to come. Travis eventually found himself wondering through Coridan territory in the Beta Quadrant where he was accepted for Coridanian citizenship and began the required four years of government service. He was assigned to the Coridan military, where he spent only two years however.
  
  A few years later, Travis could be found working an endless cycle of private deep space transport vessels, where he remained until entering Starfleet Academy in 2406.

• Appearence

  Travis has a medium complexion, darkened by exposure to natural light whenever possible. His face is clean shaven for duty. Outside of duty hours, and during leave, he sports a more scruffy appearance allowing the stubble to better define his face. His hair is thick and naturally wavy; he tends to keep it short. Travis’ build comes from years of physical labor and an extremely active lifestyle. While he does work out, his body is more toned than muscular, allowing him a naturally lean, fit appearance.
